Walkin on Sunshine

and

Blonde Stranger by JB (sorry, RM plays it every day and I'm tired of it)

and The Wall by Pink Floyd (or anything really by them), Stairway to Heaven, anything by the Stones except for Honky Tonk Woman. What can I say... I've listened to enough classic rock to know there's more to classic rock than those three artists. any classic rock station now just beats those bands' tunes into the ground.

I can't obviously say that either one of them would be asked to sing the lead at some opera, but they are both such amazing songwriters that i don't even think I hear their voices anymore. I could listen to everything by both of them and be happy.

4) John Jacob Jinkleheimer Schmitz

Can you tell I have been listening to my daughter's music too much?
:lol: I just had to laugh when I saw this post. I think I'll scream if I hear anything by Dora the Explorer and Little Einsteins. Oh...and the Backyardigans.
Ahhh ...... but The Wiggles are classic. You'll never tire of them (right?).

~~~~ surfpirate (soooooo glad my 'keets have outgrown Barney and friends)
:D
Hey Captain Feathersword rocks! Give me a few more months and then I will add them to this list. :lol:
We use to listen to the Wiggles and Sesame Street all the time in the car. My keets aren't into them as much anymore. We got a minivan in March and now they just sit in the back and non-stop ask questions about the navigation system.
I thought about listing Margaritaville too but when it comes on and I'm floating in the pool or just hanging in the backyard it always takes me to a better place. It's like hearing it for the first time everytime.
I can understand the live version. To me it's one of those songs that never comes out right live.
Another couple of songs I don't care if I never hear again:
Sweet Home Alabama and Freebird.
Sorry I'm right down the road from where Skynyrd started and have been bombarded with it all of my life.
There are some songs which bring up old relationships or times in my life I care not to think about.... but I could only think of a couple of songs I really do not ever need to hear again.......And I might add.... these do not include songs I would have never known in the first place.... I couldnt begin to tell you anything by Britney Spears, Fergie, K-Fed, PINK, Counting Crows, or Justin Timberlake just a few from a very long list. LOL
Back to my dislike songs.... Nights in White Satin and Anything from Pink Floyd. I love the Moody Blues... and maybe I just heard way to much of...but I cant stand Nights
And PF..... never liked...never will.
That's my favorite Springsteen song but he doesn't play it live very often anymore. I've seen him live about 7 or 8 times and he only did Rosalita in 2 of those shows, the last 2 I went to.
