Thanks warmsurgar... but Jury duty at least pays and I can take the bus in....You think I could pass as a senior?
add flour to your hair, grey it up a bit.. sure.
sorry to hear the news, and fingers crossed. The funny thing is that it seems like you wait and wait sometimes, then you get three or four offers because of the blizzard you put out.

Where I work at, we've had 3 rounds of layoffs in 3 weeks. It's not looking good for me either. Normal 1st shift, 175 employes. This coming week, only 50 or so
Sorry to hear that, karat. I have definitely been there. More than once or twice. Take the weekend and put on a good drunk. Then Monday, wake up, polish up the resume, and get it out there on Monster, etc.
My love is staying an anchor tied to you with that silver chain.
Sorry about the getting canned part. Ben there, done that. Last time I changed jobs, on my terms and somedays I wonder WTF was I thinking, I read the book, "Who Moved My Cheese?" Made me think a lot about stuff. Bought a copy of "What Color Is Your Parachute?" and the workbook too. Today I consider that experience very valuable to me. I work with some real first class corporate a$$holes, and my past experience helps me to remember why I love to do my job. Best wishes and enjoy the journey

The books are more about understanding who YOU are and finding a job that fits YOUR skill sets. BUY THEM
Ahhh man. I missed a PWI party? Was hanging at the river...at a party...home late...too tired to go on PC.
Companies/businesses wonder why there is not much loyalty anymore??
Workers who are...get treated badly anyways. Hubby always said companies have no souls...guess he was right.
