When I joined, I discovered that I already knew one person here (keetmommy).

The first people I met after that were LadyParrotHead, Capt Cougie, and Big Hat Carmen. They found my tailgate party at Alpine that year.

After that, I met a few people by going to Johnny Russler shows. Then, the next year, I found out on a Wednesday that I could attend a Saturday show in Tinley. A fantastic BNer, and one of my favorite people in the world (Tiki Bar) not only hooked me up with tickets, but a room near the venue. At that show, I met a TON of BNers!

Since then, I've met them in various places...mostly concert venues, but others have sought me out at my restaurants (in various locales), and we've had a lot of gatherings!

I'm at 96 BNers met....

I recently married a BNer and there were more BNers at the wedding than blood relatives.

AARRGGHH!!

We met BNers in person for the first time when we went to the Pittsburgh show a few years ago. Since we were out of state and didn't have our normal tail-gatin' ensemble, we met several BNers at a pre-party, then met more at a tailgate (hosted by Fanvan from Buffalo) prior to the show.

Since everyone was so friendly and shared with our group, we decided to return the favor at the Charlotte concert last year. Long story short, we met some great Carolinas BNers and have been part of 3 phlockings this year and the Mac McAnally concert in Charlotte (check out the Parrothead Social Area for more info and any upcoming phlockings).

Needless to say, when my wife and I went to Tinley Park this year, we tail-gated with some great BNers and our BN network grew again.

I don't get out much, I'm too shy.
