On the subject of tequila, I don't find any major taste differences between Cuervo and M'ville, but I won't drink either one straight. And as they're usually priced around the same, I'll buy whichever one's on sale when I need a "main shelf" mixing tequila. For the good stuff, I'm still experimenting...but I kinda like Patron, and I *love* Tarantula Azul.

Cuervo gold and Margaritaville are both blended and not pure 100% agave but the Lime flavord M'ville tastes great in a margarita as does teh Mango in a Mangorita. Cuervo does make a 100% agave, Tradicional and Familia. 1800 is no longer a Cuervo product but is 100% agave and I only like the Silver. I am not familiar with Tarantula except that they put out a pre-mixed thing that sells well to party goers. That doesn't make it any good though.

If you like Patron silver, I highly recommend you compare it against Don Julio and Cabo Wabo. Then step in to the Milagro and once you've made those rounds start going with some single barrel anjeo's.

I think I'm drinkin' Patron gold. I've been hearing good things about the Cabo Wabo, but until I finish the Patron, I've got no room for it in the liquor cabinet (one premium tequila at a time). Milagro's not bad.

I suppose if I were willing to pay $50+ for a bottle of tequila, I'd get something I'd enjoy sipping. But that's not the ballpark I play in.

Milagro Anejo is good, relatively-cheap ($36/ if you can find it). Patron Anejo seems a little light and underflavoured, especially at $60/. Cabo Wabo Anejo, and/or Sauza Tres Generaciones Anejo are other ideas, the former for about $62/, the latter for about $45/

I like Corona, so I'd like to try Landshark. It ain't here yet.
