I was six and had one of the jumpers and a pair of the red plaid pants. And my parents took us on vacation that year and every photo seems to have me in those plaid pants and a smiley face sweatshirt. I'm not responsible for my parents bad fashion choices though.
Navy Seals are Cooler then Pirates You Can Dream Anyway, There's always next year!!!
I graduated in 1971 also, Sista Slip N Fall....(Surprise! )
I didn't have any of those clothes....
(I started school when I was 5 and also skipped a grade...)
I did have some jumpers....but none of those , um....tights.
Went to a College Prep, private school..and we couldn't even wear pants to school... jeans was the dress after school...(as long as you had your Oxford cloth shirt.... )
Villager Skirts...Pappagallo shoes..We were soooooo boring and prepped out.....

My cats would pop that thing in a second...
I think it would be ok with Meggie and Amber....We've had a waterbed for years (talk about flashback to the 70's) and it has never been punctured by the kitties. Nutmeg's favorite toy (a plastic lizard) which she carries all over the house, doesn't eve have one tooth mark in it. They are very gentle with things. And yes, they still have all their claws.
My previous cats would leave racing stripes on your legs if the phone rang while you had them in your lap If the phone/doorbell rings while Nutmeg is on your lap she will just lay ther on her back with her feet in the air and look at you like "you're not going to get that are you?
I remember we wore shirts (body suits?) that snapped in the crotch so that when you wore your low rider bells your butt didn't hang out like they do today.
And the tights were because the skirts were so short if you leaned in any direction your underwear would show if it wasn't covered by tights.
As it was, when I started at work, I never got anyting out of the top file drawer or the bottom one when anyone else was in the room.

Wow, where did you find that stuff. I was a mere freshman in high school in 71.... thought I was really cool then and probably wore that stuff. I remember having a leather fringe vest....
