Upon leaving dinner in Gulf Shores about an hour ago. They mentioned this post on RM. We were only about 3 minutes from the Gulf Shores Airport. A plane came in, but no JB. The worker at the airport says only one more is due in tonight around 10:20 or so. He said it was a Pilatus Jet. If memory serves me right, JB has a Falcon. So unless he has a new ride or is flying with someone else on the Pilatus, no JB so far.

Id kick myself if he does show up at LuLus, we are vacationing about 5 minutes from there.

He probably is there this weekend because I will be at Lulu's and Florabama next weekend!

This week would be a good time for him to visit. Schools in that area, and around a good bit of Alabama, started today, so the biggest crush of vacationers left on Sunday.

I was in GS this past weekend for a wedding and left Sunday morning, stopped at Lulu's for lunch. The place was as packed at 11:30am on a Sunday as it was at 2 or 3 in the afternoon the Saturday of Fathers Day. Our waiter said he thought everyone stayed right until the 11:00 checkout and then came there for lunch.

I haven't seen that much traffic on AL Hwy 59 since the Monday before Ivan hit in 2004 and everyone, tourists and locals alike, were heading north. Traffic didn't clear out Sunday until we got west of the Wallace Tunnel.

I am hoping to make lower LA my home one day.....like bubba said about the Key's...I have found me a home. No place like!
