Word through the PHIP grapevine: Show date 10/18, as previously rumored. Location, however, is the Fillmore in San Francisco. Tickets $126. I don't know when they'll be on sale.

I wouldn't mind making a return trip to the Fillmore after seeing the show JB did there 2 years ago. Unfortunately some guy named Bruce is at Madison Square Garden the same day. Let's see - plane ticket to SF and a couple of days in a hotel vs. walk to the Garden from my office after work. Easy choice.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

The Fillmore is cool, but I hate being body-to-body with strangers (usually very TALL strangers with burning cigarettes) for 3-4 hours straight. I wonder if Jimmy will play some of his oldies to a mostly-Parrothead crowd, instead of the Bama Breeze/SYKBH masses?beachmusic wrote:Hope it is true. His last time at the Fillmore was magical. Great room. Only about 1,000 people along with the ghosts of Janis, Jerry, and others. It is going to be a tough ticket.
Let us know if anyone hears about tickets being available; they'll certainly be hard to get!

Last time tickets were actually easy to get. Probably had something to do with the $200 ticket price. I think it was worth every penny!KeetAtHeart wrote:The Fillmore is cool, but I hate being body-to-body with strangers (usually very TALL strangers with burning cigarettes) for 3-4 hours straight. I would be surprised if they allowed burning cigs in there now. We've got some pretty strict laws about smoking in bars/restaurants/damn near anyplace public.KeetAtHeart wrote:The Fillmore is cool, but I hate being body-to-body with strangers (usually very TALL strangers with burning cigarettes) for 3-4 hours straight. Only a thousand? Hell...that would even beat the Casa Marina show a few years back for size...
