Well, there is a rumor of a show at the Greek in Berkeley on 10/18 (under the "sticky" tour date rumors heading). I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for that one, since I can't make it to Irvine or Vegas...

I'm the person who posted the Greek Theater rumor. :) I've also heard rumors for something up here in late September, on one side or the other of the Irvine show, but nothing definite that way either.

Of course, we could always just set up our own party and invite Jimmy to show up. :)

Well, he's playing Irvine on 9/29, so 9/27 in the Bay Area is a possibility.

And he's playing Vegas on 10/20 and 10/27, so dates like 10/18 (the Greek rumor), 10/23 (my birthday - oh please, please!) and 10/25 would also not take him too far out of his way. :)

Given how long ago the word went out that the CRB wouldn't be at MOTM this year, and that they've only just now announced the Tampa shows, I bet someone already knows what the schedule will be; they're just waiting for some magickal date(s) on which to announce stuff like that. But I could be wrong.

I always thought, since my first JB show, that Shoreline would be a great place to see him. I miss seeing GD Shoreline shows, and have not been there in many moons. JB would be a good reason to go back....

It beats the heck out of the HP Pavilion, aka the "Shark Tank." The acoustics in the Shark Tank are so bad, I'd rather sit at home and listen via Radio Margaritaville.

Just got a second indication from the same source "confirming" that Jimmy will be playing the Greek in Berkeley on 10/18. Haven't seen it anyplace else yet, and I'm keeping an eye out. I don't know why they're playing this date so close to their vests.

Of course we'll have to find a new place to party, if we're gonna be in Berkeley. I'll be on the phones early of course, looking for a spot to gig.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop! I've still got my fingers crossed for this show. The Greek in Berkeley would be a cool place to see Jimmy!

So you're gonna detour out here if Jimmy does...is that what you're sayin'? That's an event I'd be happy to see.

Heh...maybe all the people who keep bugging *me* to find out if there's a concert happening, I can send 'em to you? :)

Are you in a position to hint as to when the rest of us might find *out* what's going on? :) Minutes? Days? Weeks?

It's hard to plan without accurate intel. Just ask the Bush administration. No, on second thought, they seem to have no problem at all planning without accurate intel...:)
