I agree!! I'm coming all the way from Florida to go to this show by myself, and was hoping to have arranged some tailgate buddies by now! It doesn't sound like there are any big plans

Yeah I agree. Luckily for me I'm meeting an high school classmate that I didn't know in high school for the first time that weekend. So I will still have fun, and hopefully the plans for Las Brisas on Friday night still happen.

This is Leigh from South Dakota. I'm headed back to Irvine after about an 8-year absence.
Hoping my old Parrothead friends can get their walkers through security!

Hi Leigh,
I visited the Black Hills in August during the Sturgis motorcyle rally...stayed in Deadwood and Hill City...saw Mt. Rushmore...It sure was a pretty area...I'm glad I got to visit.
I'll be there with my son Shane (he's 9---and his 8th show!!!). My wife has to work and my daughter Emma (she's 3--and has been to 1 show so far) will be watched by the grandparents...
I'm going to get there about 2:30pm and hope I can get right in...
I used to always getting there between 12 and 1 but I 'm getting tired of them not opening early...and I'm stuck waiting across the street...
Hope to meet as many BNers as possible...We'll have our BN badges and lanyards on.

Same as last year, meet at Tia Juana's on Saturday and caravan to Irvine.
Friday most everybody does their own thing, we will be busy decorating the motorhome, playing poker and fine tuning our libations.

We have no big plans, but please feel free to stop by and say hello. We are big phans and just returned from seeing both Boston shows via our tour bus (left back east and flew home). We will be at Irvine around 1 PM in hopes of the place opening early. We are bringing in our black escalade with FINSBUS California plates and our white convertible with PIRET40 California plates. My wife and I welcome all BNer's!

Well there had been some talk about meeting at Las Brisas friday night. I think midnight flyer was checking into that. Maybe he'll pop in here, and let us know what's up with that. I know I wouldn't mind meeting up Friday night with some BN's people.

Well thanks so much for the invite! I'm sure I'll be wandering around the tailgate area all day, so I'll be sure to be on the lookout for you guys! I'm definitely looking forward to the show!!

Just checked the 10 day forcast for Irvine and it is showing 76/58 with 10% chance for rain next Saturday. Warm enough for a Hula Skirt, but too cold for coconuts.

Thanks diverg....I'm sad I won't be there with my drinkie skirts...still holding out for a PHX show but even that will be iffy.

I'm sure you all will have a great time.
