Actually I should try it.
Last year at Tampa I was fubar at one point.
When I returned to my Jeep at showtime to get my ticket which was under the passenger floor mat I found that the floorbaord was an inch deep in rum. Luckily they still let me and my soaked and falling apart ticket in.
Still don't know how I managed to fill the floor with rum but my brother let me hear some of my drunk ramblings that I left on his phone.
The most fitshaced that I've ever been was at Jim Morris' Fishstock back in 2000. I don't remember much of the show at all but the parking lot was fun.
If I had it all to do over again...........................
please tell me it was Cruzan you had spilled on the floor and not good rum...
Cruzan is better than Bacardi
depends... Bacardi Anejo and 8 year old isn't in the same category as their Puerto Rican whites and browns.
neither is cruzan single barrel which is 8 - 10 yr aged but regular Cruzan blows Bacardi away and dude, I used to love Bacardi but that stuff gives me a hangover that Cruzan never has
I hear you. Ever try Barbancourt? That is (at least from what I have tried) good in the 4, the 8, and the 15 year versions.
Yea I have all of them. I like the 8 and 15 but even my bro in law who loves Barbancourt says that one I got in Puerto Rico is better and I agree
Ron Barrilito 4 star rum

have heard of that, think it was mentioned (or had an ad) in the last Cigar Aficianado's "Rum goes Premium" article. The writer of it sounded horribly-abused in having to travel the Carribbean in search of good rum.

had no interest in that one at all. The name didn't carry it, and I figured it was more a "name than product" thing.
I like to have a few beers and/or cocktails in the parking lot, quit drinking before the show, and don't drink during or after.
I don't want to get blasted; I paid good money for a concert.
But then, I don't make a habit of getting drunk anyway.... In fact, it's been a long time since I overindulged..... First of all, the aftermath isn't worth it. Second (and more important), I'm often driving, and the two just don't go together....

Just seems dumb to me to pay $$$ to go to something and get so shitfaced you cant remember it ...... when you can do that for free at home
I have never had a drink at or before a Buffett show. Each time I have been (excluding Newcastle, Australia - but we dont drink at concerts here) - it has cost me a lot of money to get to the USA to go to one - why would I want to have memory loss from it ....
I sort of have that rule as well, I generally drink at the tailgates, but once I get into the venue I usually just have one last one and then I'm done for the night (that way I can enjoy the show...)

what an odd question.
Do you think being a parrot head means you musty be a drunk?

perhaps Big And Rich just don't understand anything outside the inbred Memphis Maphia concept...
well I didnt get the reply I was hoping for, but you all sure have a great sense of humor. many laughs for sure. I have read this bulletin board for a while, but never logged in and posted.
I am still looking foward to Irvine. I have been listening to the shows on Sirius and I am jazzed about hearing some of the new tunes in rotation.
I won't be there, but I am surprised that there are other sober Ph's. I am 29 and never drank and I have been to over a dozen shows and they are still great no matter what!
