Look left. Dark and Stormy

2oz Goslings rum or Cruzan blackstrap
6oz Barritts ginger beer.. (I have been trying others as Barritts
is hard to get in Boise) :( :(

slice of lime..
if you wanta GREAT dark'n'stormy - you want to try Bundaberg Rum with Bundaberg Ginger Beer (real stuff - even got floaty bits of gingers!) ... can only get from Australia - if there was not those US laws of no liquids on the plane - I would bring you a can!
:) :) I just finished a 4 pack of bottles.. they have them at Cost plus.
and they are good.. not the Rum just the gingerbeer.. :(

good stuff..
Is it NOT the best GB ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is good.. BTW..

I know us Yanks are not so bright but
if we "invert before opening" Won't the Ginger Beer all
pour out while we are pulling the cap off??

Was out last night with friends and one ordered an Amaretto Colada. everyone tried it, and by the end of the night there were 10 empty glasses of it on the table.

One time when my then-husband and I had to cross on the ferry from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth, it was really windy and rough. Though not a true "boat drink", I found that 4 Rusty Nails had me not in the least worried about dry land! And my sea legs were just AWESOME!

ContinentalDrifterIII I like the way you travel. Block Island and JVD. Not only are the painkillers at Soggy Dollar amazing, but they make the best bloody mary I have ever had.

Rum & Coke with lime.

I like the Cruzan coconut rum or dark rum... the spiced stuff doesn't sit well with me.

just curious.....by definition what the hell IS a Boat Drink.....and how does it differ from just a garden variety cocktail?

For the record, I like beer....
