I agree, although I'm having a hard time with the idea that Vick might spend 12-18 months in prison for dog fighting while Leonard Little (St. Louis Rams) killed a woman while driving drunk in 1998 and only got 90 days "shock time" in a "workhouse," a fine, and 1,000 hours community service.

Something is seriously wrong with our justice system... I'm thinking we ought to lock up both of 'em.
I'm with you, throw them both in jail. It is a sad state of affairs that this gets the attention it is getting and someone can kill another person and it does not get the attention that it should. Don't get me wrong, he deserves everything he gets, it's just that he is famous and that is why it is a front page story. I think the NFL should ban him now... The justice system is pathetic.

Cruelty to Animals is just a stepping stone to abusing people in my book.
May he rot in Hell.

NFL GM says 'count on it:' Vick will return to NFL
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

I agree with you guys, he is a total loser, those poor animals. I just wish that anyone who abuses anyone makes front page news, it's the only way to change things :x

If Roger Goodell stands up to what he's been saying publicly about cracking down on criminals to "protect the shield", Vick (hopefully) won't play another down in the NFL.

Hell, Pacman got a year suspension for being "involved" in stuff but not even indicted or convicted. Vick is saying he's guilty, plus he lied to Goodell about it. I don't think he'll take that lightly.

He might, but he was never the QB some thought he might be. Low 50s completion percentage, pretty eractic arm. Ran for 1,000 yards, but that's not what the NFL is looking for in a quarterback. The hype and expectations certainly were much more than what he ever did on the field.

So if anyone wants a convicted felon, average QB with a bad attitude that will demand millions of dollars...

Which means that Vick will become a Wrestler just like Pacman..

He said he wanted to apologize to anyone that was affected, how do you say sorry to a dog.

Somehow I bet community service enters this picture.

He should be cleaning dog kennels.

And making public service announcements from prison. "Hello, my is Michael Vick. I used to be a multi-million dollar a year NFL quarterback, but I was a dumbsh*t who abused animals and organized dogfights. I figured the rules didn't apply to me, and I could buy my way out of trouble, so I threw away my opportunities. Now I'm a convicted felon, just like every other stupid convicted felon."

That numbnut won't be on any real team anytime soon. Probably the Raiders but that's just them.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

I don't think 12-18 months is enough for Vick.

I was a paramedic working in St. Louis (and occasionally for the Rams) when Little ran a red light and killed Sue Gutweiler. Little didn't learn much from the shock time and community service, he was arrested again for DUI in 2004.

Lock 'em both up.

This time next year, they'll probably make him an offer.

so perhaps now all the professional athletes caught with illegal drugs like cocaine and marijauna (enough to be tried on intent to sell . . .) and those caught with prostitutes (outside of legal areas) as well as those caught with illegal firearms and are, more than once, around violent crime (Sabastian Telfair) will go to jail or at the very least lose their multi million dollar contracts . . . I put the aforementioned well above dog fighting in terms of disgraceful activity that should not be rewarded.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .
