When I was there for spring break in my younger days even I was appalled at some of the things that go on down there. I'm not a god-fearing person, but that was pretty close to Sodom and Gomorrah. I can't imagine living there and having to go through that crap every spring!pcbfan wrote:Spring Break!!!! EEK!! I don't even want to think about that yet! They come here and trash this place and our city/county officials can't see past the $$$$$...Oh well (sigh)

It's simple...you don't go to the beach from 3/1 until , oh...around September.....
Seriously? I just moved here this year....and after living on the East Coast for years...on an island....This beats anything I have ever seen!

What are the chances?
We're definitely planning to attend the opening of Margaritaville in PCB next spring... but we were wondering... there's a CIP opening in Sandestin on Monday 9/10. What are the chances that Jimmy will show up for the grand opening? Is the food worth it to take off work early and drive 45 minutes in the likely event that he doesn't show up?

Did you go? Our news reported on its opening last night. We'll have to take a small road trip and check it out.jons211 wrote:We're definitely planning to attend the opening of Margaritaville in PCB next spring... but we were wondering... there's a CIP opening in Sandestin on Monday 9/10. WOO-HOO!! This is the first I've heard about it. Panama City Beach is one of my favorite beaches in the world. Especially on Shell Island / St. Andrews State Park. I have been going to PCB since childood. Can't wait to be able to enjoy "Margaritaville" there now too. Thanks for the info.

Re: What are the chances?
On our vacation, we drove around it. The Tuesday before it opened, they were having some kind of employee party. The next day, they were having a training session. I ALMOST walked up to the door and asked if we could be 'test customers', but the hubby wouldn't stop the car.pcbfan wrote:Did you go? Our news reported on its opening last night. And doubtful Jimmy would show up at a CIP. Now the Margaritaville in Panama City, he's more likely to show up.
