The greatest beatdowns in history

Post by aeroparrot »

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

I'm actually surprised that I didn't see the Giants 41 - 0 victory over the Vikings when the Giants lost to Baltimore in the Super Bowl.

It couldn't be because I would need to get a date first.

Haha, 27 was awesome. Ryan 20 years older than Ventura and beating the crap out of him.

16 was the best, the Cardinals still cry about that series.

I remember that one VERY well. The Cardianls actually had that series won in game 6.
And, perhaps not so ironically, my brother-in-law grew up with, and went all through school with Don Denkinger.
They still see each other 2-3 times a year.

That's awesome!! I grew up a huge baseball fan, unfortunately the last great thing to happen in Kansas City sports happened when I was 4.

Speaking of which 44 is hysterical.

  Not since about 93 or 94, at least.

He can build a great team, he just can't do anything with them. I hate San Diego but they were smart. Don't waste 10 years of good regular season football and POOR playoff appearances every 3 or 4 years.

"THE CATCH" made by Willie Mays off the bat of Cleveland batter Vic Wertz was in game 1 of the 1954 World Series.

I was alive when THE CATCH was made. A strapping young stud of 2 year, 10 months.

The SECOND nicest thing that happened in 1951 was the Yankees beating the Giants in the World Series.
