not his fault... the fault of his inbred, goat-ropin', chicken-chokin', wannabe cowboys from New England fans..

Sean Connery, Patrick Stewart.... I rest my case....
So you're okay with me shaving my chest before you come to Hawaii next month? You know how I hate the way the Cheez Whiz gets stuck in it. :P
You can leave your chest just like it is.... 8)

I'm sitting here listening to my wife & daughter getting p*** about what this thread turned in to.

Just a side note, don't Jimmy Buffett & Kenny Chesney have the same hairline, just different hair cuts?

We go see Kenny Chesney every year just like we go see Jimmy Buffett (no daughter for his shows though). They sing about almost the same thing, happy, fun, drinking & tropical vacation type songs with some more serious stuff mixed in. J.B. has written more but K.C. has also co-written some of hits. My daughter knows the words to most of the K.C. songs, just like most of the J.B. songs (and all of the Beach Boys stuff) I prefer that she likes Chesnsy's songs over some of the crap kids listen to now (Yeah, so I sound like my parents now, so frickin' what!)! I just figure it's just that the younger entertainers move in before the older ones call it a career. The kids that liked Frank Sinatra got mad when their kids liked Elvis Presley who got mad at their kids for liking the Beatles, but then there were people that liked all three of them.

15 years from now I'll probably still be going to Chesney concerts. Will Jimmy Buffett still be playing? I hope so, but he'll be 75 by then [smilie=cwl.gif]

OK everybody, Ready Aim, FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :pirate:

True, Elvis didn't get far in his 40's but 1/2 of the Beatles are at it well into their 60's! 8)

tho half the surviving Beatles should hang it up and just worry about the legal expenses from marrying Hopalong without signing a pre-nup

k. I guess. I know that Linda was there thru hell and high water for him. The latest wife, probably ex-by-now appeared to be nothing more than a money-grubbing scag.

I'll agree with you there. I think his kids were against his hooking up with her from the beginning.

I believe you are right, and she did a great job of trying to create tension by the stories.

OT but a good new book that gives insight about what it is like to be a rock and roll wife is Wonderful Tonight by Patti Boyd. She was married to George Harrison and then Eric Clapton. Lots of great background Beatles stuff.
