Mohegan Sun - Star on the Walk Fame

Post by CTParrothead763 »

Wife and I went to the concert last night. Fantastic crowd and set list.

While walking by the arena entrance around 3:30, we noticed a bunch of people, cameras, lights, etc. When we asked, a guard told us that Jimmy was coming out at 4:00 to accept a star on the Mohegan Walk of Fame. He is the 13th performer to receive the award.

At 4:00 he came out, unveiled the star (in the floor), and gave a quick speech. I know he wasn't singing, but I've never been 30 feet away from him either.

Just one more part of a magical day. :D

We were going to go in for it but was having too much fun in the lot.
Was it way crowded? Thought it would be.

Oh and he walked right by me last year during jazz fest at MV and I would say he is the same height as me...5'6". I could be wrong.
And yes Charleston is very LARGE, everyone looks short next to him.
