We JUST had a 4.7 earthquake here in SoCal ( I live about 8 miles from Irvine).
Just a warm up for the Irvine show??? 8)

Yep. Just rattled the cupboards and made the house sway and creak knocked a few pictures crooked. It was funny because I had just finished reading an article about the San Andreas fault. :lol:

just talked to my niece in Orange and they didn't feel a thing.......
glad it was just a baby quake!

WOW!!...and people actually move from OK because they fear tornadoes. I was in the heart of tornado alley before moving to Ga.

I guess you get used to the ground shaking ??

Yep. On any given week we will have 20-40 quakes, although you can't feel most of them. But there are those times when you'll feel a slight swaying or you look and the coffe in your cup will be sloshing around.

You can see the quakes here: California Quakes

Click on the location and you can see where it was Then on that page click on "Statistics" and it will show you how it was felt in diffferent zip codes. I live in 92688.

I think I'll stay in New England where the worst thing we have is snowstorms - at least my dishes stay put and I've never had to move out of my house from one of those! :o :o :o
