Big Jimmy, maybe you may not agree with their lifestyle, but have you ever tried to get to know either of them as a person, and not base your opinions of them by their actions? I have several friends who are gay and they are some of the nicest and most generous people I know. You may not agree with their lifestyle or actions, but it doesnt mean that they deserve to be treated differently or ignored. They deserve as much respect as you and I do.
In my opinion.
Amen!

Yeah, let's just be derogatory and offensive...... Not saying you have to agree with everyone's lifestyle, but there's no need to be an a$$.....

Agreed Jen.

Feel free to use it anytime.
AND feel free to e-mail me pictures of your daughter in her play.
Whether or not I get to see it, kids seem to bring out the kid in me and make me happy in any case. (Just like pets-only with TWO legs).

You MUST give Jerry all the props. For the great times and laugh he had with Dean Martin.... without him....Lots of comedy would have never been there.
Apparently it was one of the stage hands or something. Jerry came out and apologized today, after GLAAD or one fo those groups complained. CNN reporting that they have accepted the apology.
Jerry said that he feels so at home on the telethon that he forgets that some people watching don't know him or his sense of humor, or something to that effect.
I know, and
IMHO Its sad and degrading to a human being when they have to apologize to GLAAD.
ok.. walk me thru the logic on this one?

I've started and self-edited several times..........
I've made a POINT to stay out of political/heated/whatever stuff........
but the Adam/Steve argument is tired at best and flawed at worst..
Bigotry in any form is offensive to me......I adore my gay friends, just as I do my straight friends....who and what they do in their bedroom is none of my business and certainly not something that concerns me.....
That is all.....

Matt-
You know I don't particularly condone the ga.y lifestyle either, but I think we can let them be who they are without being nasty about it.
It's one thing to make light-hearted jokes, but making deep-cutting hurtful remarks like that only HURT.
Be who you are WHOEVER you are, but please, try to refrain from hurting people who'd no more hurt us than a raindrop in the ocean.
Thanks.

Thank you Paige and Garry
You always find great people by judging their heart and not their sexual preference.

I know I have MY faults, but I would hope a lack of human decency isn't one of them.
