Not really horror or thriller, but it messes with your head just the same.

Gotta love that Stanley Kubrick.

Yes, the 1969-70 school year. My English teacher thought he was our friend instead of our teacher and he was trying to be a cool guy. He failed miserably.

Wait Until Dark with Audrey Hepburn
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062467/

When a Stranger Calls (the old one with Carol Kane, not the 2006 one)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080130/

Cujo is always a little creepy.

Yeah, many people haven't seen it, but it's real suspenseful and scary with no bloodshed. Different than what most people expect from Audrey Hepburn.

Event Horizon. I had forgotten it (read: blocked it out of my mind) until someone else had mentioned it here. It is really one of the most terrifying movies I'd ever seen. I had gone with a friend of mine to see it and when we left neither one of us wanted to walk home alone. had to sleep with the light on that night. And I was something like 28 at the time!! And yeah, The Shining.

huh...I saw that movie in the theater, it was packed. Everybody there, without exception, jumped in their seats at that one scene. Big burly men too. :o Coming out of the theater, somebody slipped on the steps and everybody screamed...they were still hoodooed after the movie !!!!!!

And the black and white old old movie, "The Tingler" scared the beejeebers out of me, still does. It would be hard to find, though.
