My first was also Beach Odyssey at Alpine - first set the same, 2nd set changed up a bit.

Oh, and it was 40 degrees in June, but many peeps were still showing skin in coconut bras, grass skirts, etc... lots of bright red, goose bumpy skin!

Beach Odyssey in Auburn Hills Michigan for me in NOVEMBER! :o 40 degrees.....Maybe. You limboed to keep warm! Purchased my ticket day of the show, about 15 rows back on the main floor.

And you're right, Amy's cooking! Nothing like "Good Sax"!! :lol:

This was an excellent show. I am loving the concert replays. Being a new parrot head on the block I love hearing these shows from different tours. Next year will be the real thing for me.

This week's replay was extra special, because it made me think back to what was going on at that time in 2001. People needed to have a good time and get some sense of normal back, and I bet those people who were at this show got just what they wanted and needed at that time. Music is such a universal language, and it can do wonders in healing.

i attended a show this summer and listening to this i think jimmy used to interact with the crowd more than he does now. or maybe i just don't remember it quite right.
