Teeth Brushing Poll

Post by buffettbride »

When do you do your morning brush?

I've always brushed after my shower, but today I was feeling a little, uhhh, different, so I decided to brush before I got in. Mostly because I forgot to warm up the water before I peed and I needed to waste some time until my shower was hot.

It felt pretty good to shower with clean teeth and I don't feel like my daily routine has gone askew due to the change in the order of events.

When I was pregnant I used to brush my teeth in the shower because it inevitably made me toss cookies because of morning sickness and it was just more efficient to barf in the shower.

I should add, this poll assumes you bathe every day and is agnostic of when your morning meal is eaten.

I like to brush either right before or right after a shower, any time of day.
No strong preference.

This is also assuming that you shower in the morning. I shower before bed because I can't sleep feeling dirty and can't drag myself out of bed early enough to shower before work.

I suppose that technically this would be brushing before a shower in the morning since I don't shower till that night.

I try that sometimes cause I'm not a morning person, but I just don't feel as awake, and seem somewhat out of it all day.

Well, if you must know, there were no chunks with morning sickness. Just bile and some dry heaving action. Sounded an awful lot like drowning a cat.

I brush my teeth at various times.

1. In the morning as soon as I wake up (before the rest of the house wakes up)
2. I'll also brush in shower.
But because I'm a stay-at-home mom, I don't usually shower till everyone else has left the house to allow them more time in the bathrooms.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

I brush after the shower, the same time that I'm putting deodorant on and getting dressed.

Do you brush your teeth during the day?

I HATE the furry feeling on my teeth......so I brush a lot...even if it's just with a wet toothbrush real quick....or some mouthwash....my daughter makes fun of me because I carry a toothbrush in my purse....but I can't stand that feeling.....

I too, brush after my shower, which is after I've had my coffee and the grandkeet is sleeping. I like to get the full 2 minutes without interruption 8) :wench:
