For a cool, current surf sound, try Los Straitjackets.
Jim Morris is my favorite, he has a lot of material out and is great live.
My biggest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell all my Buffett stuff for what I said I paid for it!

Ziggy Marley's album "Love Is My Religion" is great for the backyard.
Same goes for Sammy Hagar and the Wabos' album "Livin' It Up"

Wow, I thought I was the the only person to have this. I'm not a big Sammy Hagar fan, but Livin' It Up is a really fun album. Sam even mentions JB on it. (but Rainy Day Woman still sux no matter who does it)

Well, eveyone will keep me busy with all their suggestions for music. I appreciate all the responses. It just so happened I took my laptop in for some work and they dumped all my music I had ripped onto it.
I have the laptop set up with my summerfun music that hooks up to the surround sound with speakers set up outside. It's so sweet to sit out back by the pool and transform that I don't live in "corn" country but a tropical island. That would now have to wait till next year, pools closed and it's fall.
