Thanks, Penny. I like to put names and faces together.

Thanks Penny!!! There are 5 owners. To the left of Don is one of the other owners and then to the left and right of the lady holding the kid are the other owners.
The jockey that rode for us wasn't the jockey we were expecting to ride. (we were bait and switched on jockeys) We weren't too happy when we heard this jockey would be riding for us. We had never heard of him but were told he had great rides and wins in Denver. One of the other owners said he had known the kid since he was 5 as his dad's a trainer in our area.
At the gate, Red exploded and we were kinda miffed because our jockey had been told to hold him back until the first turn.
Our race was the jockey's first time to race on this particular track and his first win there. At the start Red was around 2 lengths ahead all the way into the home stretch. Had the race been longer we might not have done so good.
Hopefully video will be available later today.

Congrats to you both!
We may do the track in a few weeks for my Mom's bday, she loves to gamble, slots and trotters.
Should be fun.

The race is online - but you have to register. I thought I'd be able to capture it but I couldn't. Registration is free - they'll send you an email with a login. I haven't figured out if you can change it so save that email if you want to watch in the future.
Once registered go to replays on the left hand side, press the 14 on Sept's calendar then choose race 1. We're in gate 2 which is the 3nd on the right as the 1st gate has a race official of some sort in front of it.

f you find yourself lost on the Emerald Downs home page you find replays under Handicapping Info
