I am volunteering in a golf outing on Monday...my "job" will be to drive the celebrity around for the 18 holes and keep score for the foursome. I can choose who I want to have as my celebrity...who would you choose?

In the past I have had Ralph Branca, Bobby Ojeda and Steve Thurlow.

Ed Kranepool :D

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Jeez I don't know any of them except Gregg Jarrett from Fox News so I'd go with him or maybe one of the former NFL players..

Rich Gedman or David Rachse. I'm a die hard sox fan, and sledgehammer was one funny a** show.

Al Jackson or Ed Kranepool.
BOTH were members of the 1962 Mets-their inagural year in baseball.
Jackson was an excellent pitcher, Kranepool was outstanding.

I'd take the tournament host.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

I'd go luck of the draw and take the chance you get to hear good stories from any of them.

Ask him if he remembers a game in August of 1992 when he was playing for the Padres-I was at a game at Wrigley Field (sitting in the bleachers), and the Cubs led most of the game. The Padres tied it in the 9th inning, and the game went on into extra innings. Then, in the 17th inning, "Timmy T" hit one out of the stadium and onto Waveland Avenue to win it for the Padres. :-?

I stayed for the whole thing, and let me tell you, I was SO happy I reneged on my decision to quit drinking that day.
