Well I'm booked for a trip to the Smokies beginning October 13th for the following week. So I'll keep my fingers crossed that some fall colors will come our way!

We are having fantastic sunny weather that highlights the trees as they start to turn. About a third of the deciduous ones are turned now, and we have lots of pine and spruce for contrast. And sumac! Red that goes Pow!
Peak weekend here in Eastern Ontario is around Canadian Thanksgiving, second Monday in October. There is an Official time, too, declared by the National Capital Commission, called "Fall Rhapsody".
