better than a two hour meet-and-greet with Tommy Thompson..
Two hours? We had to put up with 15 years of Tommy...

Disagree with the candidate all you want, but if he/she bothers you as much as it bothered this fool, get up & go home. That's all. Life's too short to go around carrying a stupid sign telling the the world how unhappy you are, or screaming in the face of a candidate you don't particularly care for.
As for the police, they have a job to do. This guy was given the chance to leave-he refused, so he got what was coming to him. You may not agree with the way the police did their job, but, given the circumstances, and given the fact I wasn't there, I'm not going to hold the officers in judgement, but assume they did their job as they saw fit.
And knowing how slanted the news media is, I trust their "objective reporting" about as much as I trust Ted Kennedy in a liquor store.
Bottom line, I.M.O., the police tased him, therefore he deserved it.
And I'm voting for Duncan Hunter in the next election.
My problem with this is that Kerry was trying to answer. He even said, "let me answer" you can hear it on the tape. This kid simply wanted to rant & rave against Kerry without giving the questionee the simple courtesy of answering. He simply raised his volume and pitch over Kerry. I am not a big Kerry fan at all, but if I were going to engage Kerry in some sort of debate I would at least give him the same courtesy as I was give, the courtesy of time to speak.
Then he fought the cops who were trying to remove him. As Wino said I wasn't there. What I did see is the cops trying to remove him, he starts screaming and flailing around, you hear a warning being given, and then the kid got tased. Good for the cops, bad for the kid. I bet he will keep himself under control next time.

I'm not AT ALL crazy about Senator Kerry either-but if he was trying to answer a question that was asked of him, SHUT UP AND LET THE MAN ANSWER!!! There IS a thing called
CIVILITY!!!
If you despise someone that much, WHY even show up where he's giving some type of forum?
I've always said the only people who have less of a life than I do are these pencil-necked geek politiacl protesters (mostly the kook-left fringe), whose only claim to fame is yelling at candidates like the mother hens they are, and carrying their friggin' SIGNS!
Nobody who has ANY sense of self-respect gives a damn what these morons have to say, so they should REALLY just S.T.F.U. and go home! (Or go get a JOB-a foreign concept to most of them).
But if you go to hear Senator Kerry, Senator Clinton, President Bush, Carrot Top, or
Mombo Freaking Italiano give a lecture, SHUT UP,
SHUT UP, SHUT UP and let them talk. And if you ask them a question, SHUT UP,
SHUT UP, SHUT UP and let them answer.
I don't feel one bit sorry for that little spoiled mama's boy snot-nosed brat that got tased. Had I been there, I'd STILL be pummeling his dumb a$$!
I just saw the video of that for the first time last night-and I have to say, I ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALLY enjoyed that little bas--rd get what he deserved. It almost rivaled having sex, a big mac, and a beer at the same time.

The arrest was because he refused to cooperate.
B/c the organizers of the event asked that he be removed.

I heard Kerry was going to step in and save the kid but he was waiting for U.N. approval first.

he wanted to make sure there were no weapons of mass destruction on the kid and then change his mind several times before deciding to go against the UN approval too

You gotta obey the cops it's as simple as that. They didn't shoot him, they used a tool to help subdue him because he was out of control. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, file a complaint the next day, but for God sake just do what they tell you to at the time unless you have another agenda like I suspect this guy did. He made sure it was all being recorded. By the way, I love that line "Don't tase me Bro." I'm sure it's trademarked already and will be on t-shirts and bumper stickers by the weekend.

It was as of a few days ago.
Bill O'Rielly was advertising the bumper stickers on his show.
I got a big laugh out of that.

He had decided to help before he decided against it.

That, and of course he's opposed to moving unilaterally.

He's also opposed to moving bi-laterally and multi-laterally. I think it's just the whole moving thing that's got him flummoxed.
