The biggest problem is that a lot of parents these days won't put their foot down and say "no" to their kids, because they'll obviously be scarred for life if they don't get every damn thing they want.
Hey isn't this like the "discussions" about Buffett tickets and scalpers - just say no!!
Or will we be scarred too!!
My mum still after 40+ years tells me no when I tell her I need to go to a secondary market to get Buffett tickets!

A little disappointment never hurt anyone, it's a good character builder.

That's why we use the "Mick Jaggar Method" of parenting with our kids. When they ask us for something we know we're not going to give them, we ask them, "What does Mick Jagger say?"
The answer is, "You can't always get what you want."
It works so well now that when we ask them what Mick Jagger says, they just roll their eyes and walk away.

I got shut out here in Chicago after 1 or 2 minutes. All parents want to do is show their kids a good time at a local concert but they are being asked to pay the price of a trip to Disney World.
They are also selling a large number of the tickets via Fan Club Presale.
Yeap, and I have already sold 4 of the tickets for $350 each.
And the reason why I sold them drit cheap was that a customer of mine who I sold them to, threw in 4 tickets to any Bears game I want this season with parking pass to boot.

I don't think its so much that no one cares but no one wants to see their kids unfairly screwed. I mean I take chit on a daily basis but once someone goes out to screw my kids I get defensive. It's just about wanting to see your kids happy. Adults aren't likely to complain when they are the only ones affected I guess.
I've been talking to some friends who work for "The Mouse" and the problems with this tour are rampant nationwide on varying levels.
