Sail on, Crookedy Cat

I'm having trouble facing this, because he is/ was such a dear kitty. Friday night, I enjoyed his loving expression as I petted him watching TV. You never know when you're going to lose someone dear.

We have had him only two years. He was fine this a.m., fine after church and lunch. Just found him dead beside my mom's bed about 6. Choked on a hairball is all I can figure.

We got him October two years ago, when he appeared at the back door with two broken legs that healed crooked. Named him Crookshanks, but Crookedy fit him better.

Mom is so so sad. And me too.
