SPOKANE, Wash. -- A pet rabbit named Sugar Bunny was stolen from a preschool and fliers protesting circus animal acts were left in its empty cage.

That's f***ing ridiculous. To 5 year olds? Did they also leave fliers telling them the truth about Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy?

To add insult to injury, they claim affiliation with animal rights groups to justify their ridiculous act. There's nothing like spreading propaganda to preschoolers. Get 'em while they're young.

Lets take their lunch money too!

Daphna Nachminovitch, director of PETA's domestic animal department, said the group would not endorse stealing a pet bunny.

"Just like dogs and cats, (rabbits) have been domesticated, so we encourage people who have the knowledge and ability to adopt rabbits from their local shelters," Nachminovitch said.

P.E.T.A had nothing to do with it and doesn't condone stealing pets.

I think it was probably an inside job and if I were in charge of the investigation I'd look for the kid who always wears camouflage and talks a lot about hunting. There's your bunny kidnapper.

I grew up in a hunting family, and we Grew, killed and ate
rabbits.

We were also taught that stealing is wrong..

Stealing is very wrong (unless you're starving).

I've had it fried in a pan under very primitive circumstances and chopped up in a casserole. I think it tastes VERY MUCH like chicken, but different somehow. How was your rabbit prepared?

Put it this way. If I was starving (in the true sense of the word) and you left the door to a well-stocked pantry unlocked and unguarded, I'd clean you out.

Likewise, if I was starving and found a nice healthy rabbit all fattened up and already caught and caged, I'd make rabbit stew.

But like I said before, look for the kid in 'camo'. There's your trouble right thuuuurrrr.
