I didn't get the chance to meet the Blonde Tornado, the Porch of Indecision was closed for a private party.
What I did get was a really good time, with lots of Loaded Landshark Lager, and a cool balloon Parrot Hat, which I wore all night and it ended up yielding many free beverages even as I wore it back to my resort at Mickey Land. The folks at Margaritaville also gave me a huge slice of strawberry shortcake with a couple of lighted candles, and the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday to me. What I did not get, was any kinda free swag, but I still had a great time, and I was very happy I went there!
Welcome to the Club!!! The other reason you didn't run into Marinell (Blonde Tornado)is she was in the hospital. You would have loved her! Everyone does! I'm glad you had an awesome party!

We were able to make reservations at Margaritaville the morning of my birthday. I was kinda surprised, the last time I asked they didn't take reservations.no shoes wrote:Pleased to hear you had a good time. Did you have to book a long time in advance?
Happy belated birthday
So bless me father, yes I have sinned.
Given the chance I'll probably do it again
I don't need absolution
Just a simple solution will do.

I'll settle for one in AC!
There is one a tad closer, in SC

been to the Myrtle Beach site, we go there once a year when we visit my bro and his family in Wilmington, NC. We even have pictures of our kids sitting at the Sand Bar, and the kids are 12 and 10 years old. Gotta start them off right when they're keets!

I did get quite a buzz that night, and a hang over the next morning, so I did get that....phjrsaunt wrote:Sorry you didn't get any free stuff, but it sounds like you still had a good time!
