Braves, Falcons and Thrashers since they are my hometown teams. I'm not big into basketball so I left the Hawks off, but I will still pull for them when they play.

If they aren't playing one of the above - Cardinals, Cubs and O's in baseball; Cowboys in football.

On the NASCAR track it is all about DEI and RCR, doesn't matter who is driving for them, I'm more a fan of the teams than the drivers.

Of course I support my alma mater, Auburn University, and I like to see former AU players do well at the next level. As a diehard AU fan I then also have to be a huge fan of any team playing against Alabama and UGA.

I bleed for a certian team, from a certian city that starts with a C, ends with an O and has a Hicag in the middle. BEARS!!!
Football is head and shoulders above any other sport I root for, but
Baseball - Cubs
Basketall - IU, dont like pro ball.
Hockey - Avs, Patrick Roy was a god!!

As to other sports, I dont think soccer should be played by any american over the age of 12. NASCAR I just dont get, I know a lot of people love it, but watching guys turn left real fast for 3 hours on TV is only better than soccer. Golf, love to play, but cant watch it.
Oh, and BEARS!!!

Fencing is bad ass. And chess, while not so much a spectator sport is still interesting to see. So yes. including fencing and chess. :D

Anyway...

I'm a Broncos and Avs girl. Not a huge baseball fan, but I do like the Rockies (my mom is a Cubs and Dodgers fan). Not a fan of basketball so don't care about the Nuggets.

I like the Crush and the Mammoth, too. :D

To be honest, the American media makes it difficult to follow the US international teams.

The Rugby World Cup wasn't televised by any of the mainstream American media stations. I think you had to have either satellite or one of the really expanded digital cable packages to see it. The Women's World Cup matches all were played at 4 in the morning (plus I'm not a big fan of soccer anyway).

About the only international competitions that get major media coverage here are the Olympics and the men's World Cup. However, even with those events, the games are either played all too often at inconvienent times for the average American to watch live, and typically you see the result long before you have a chance to see any footage of the match.

I'm too lazy to find pictures 8)

Denver Broncos
Colorado Avalanche
Colorado Rockies

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
the yellow don't show up too well

And to a lesser extent, the Nuggets, Crush and Mammoth. Although I won't watch many of the games. Nice to see the Nugs putting a team together. Plus the powder blue uniforms are snazzy. Yes, I used the word snazzy.

Well that sucks .. while I love my Newcastle Knights - there is nothing better than watching our aussie teams playing international games ... the anthem before is much more moving than a domestic game and has more meaning and the green and gold (for aust) uniforms the players are in - its a wonderful time of national pride ........ We get all the sports I listed on free tv live most of the time - we are pretty big on watching our international sports.
