Angel Falls
One of the things we're thinking of doing from down here, is taking the overnight package trip to the Orinoco and Angel Falls, from Porlamar on Isla Margarita, to which you can fly to direct from T&T. (Yes we did get the Yellow Fever shots before we came down.) SO, has anyone out there actually done this trip and did you see the falls and did you enjoy it? Would like to hear from someone who has done this and if you know the name of the outfitter you used. Thanks.

Haven't done it yet............you might want to read the mystical romance Green Mansions. Setting is the Orinoco River and jungle. It's by HR Hudson who wrote it at the beginning of the 20th Century.....so a bit wordy but visually vivid. You can probably find the whole book on line since it's a classic.
