Agreed, DMB are cool, but they shouldn't be covered, they never sound good when covered...and don't say they never sound good when normal because I like them...

Never heard Jimmy do Trippin Billies but I think it is a very cool song.
Jimmy's version of Scarlet Begonias does great justice to an amazing song by the Grateful Dead. The other great Dead cover is Jane's Addiction's version of Ripple.

of all the songs jimmy covers(which im not a fan of), i have to disagree and say the band does a smokin' version of this,especially greenidges pan solo, jakes solo, and petes guitar solo.the lyrics are very fitting for a jb concert.my only gripe is,that jimmy has his own songs that are in a similar vein grove and lyrically so he should be playing his own...i'll take it anyday over glory days and on the road again if hes going to do a cover.

THREE members of the band have told me they don't like that song at all, but when the boss says "DO IT," they have no choice.
BTW-
I can't stand that song either.
