I usually don't. I probably won't this year. But my youngest son is one of the "high risk" ones, so we'll be having to get him one.

We just had to get a bunch of immunizations for school, so I'm sure he's not gonna like it...

I usually get one every 3-4 years, just to make sure there are some degree of immunities in the system. But, I don't get sick often (and oddly, I have been lucky enough to have the two bouts of nasty stuff start on my weekend..)

Hi work in an emergency room and we get exposed to all kinds of stuff so YES! and it's FREE!

I always get one. We have elderly parents that stay with us sometimes and would not want them to get the flu.

there wasn't a F'k no but NO will suffice. There are SO many strains of the flu that you can still get the flu even with the shot.

Now with new meds to battle the flu like Tamaflu which by the time it was time to take the second pill the first pill had already knocked out all my symptoms, I'll pass on the shots or the nasal spray.

30 bucks a pop, no thanks. No guarantees that it will even be effective against most flu strains.

Never have had one before. But I was at the gynecologists' last week and he asked me that since the flu that will most likely go around is a bad one, would I want a flu shot. I said yes and the nurse left the room and came back with a needle ...

. So I had one. It hurt a little and was sore for two days. The shots are free at county health clinics in the area.
