For the record, I don't mind covers at all. As long as they are the right ones for his style.
I don't think Jimmy puts his songs on records anymore . . . it is all digital nowadays.

and on a serious note . . . I have been trying for years to come up with a way to describe Jimmy's style. So far I have narrowed down Jimmy's style to:

Fun, often drunken, nostalgic, tear jerkers, and or, hilarious island related ballods with sensible human related cores that either A. make me want to dance, B. Drink, C. Dance and Drink, D. Move back to a Latitude Under 20, E. Call an old Friend, F. go to Buffettnews and talk about Baseball and Gay Wizards, G. Pray he doesn't retire . . . or H. any combination of the aforementioned I choose. :D
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

I think a lot of people are bothered that he does the SAME cover songs over and over, rather than being bothered that he does covers at all.

2)If I Could Just Get It On Paper
3)Remittance Man
4)Cliches
5)Treat Her Like A Lady

This is a great topic. The best thing about going to a Jimmy Buffett concert is you'll never know what diamonds will be there that night.

I've been lucky to have Jimmy play four of my top five in Atlantic City and Mohegan Sun.

1. Coastal Confessions: CT 2006
2. Door Number Three: CT 2007
3. Banana Republics: NJ 2007
4. Tonight I Just Need My Guitar: NJ 2007, CT 2007
5. Who's The Blond Stranger: 2008 Tour?

Phins Up From Long Island! Home of Jones Beach.
The BEST and only true BEACH TAILGATE PARTY on the tour!
