The bunkhouse at the Captain's Corner Dive Shop was $25 night.
A great place to stay if you're planning to scuba dive.
(and the Trails from Margaritaville tour stops by every afternoon.)

Try going through the Changes in Latitude forum, there are more than a few Key West threads in there...

I stayed at the Eden House this past May and thought it was nice and the location was good. Check it out onling -
www.edenhouse.com.
It's ranked pretty highly on Tripadvisor as well.

The Key West Harbour Inn on Elizabeth (I think) is a nice place, very reasonable rates considering it's two blocks from Duval and one block from Schooner Wharf, and yet manages to be reasonably quiet (not including the roosters.)

We love the Curry Mansion Inn on Caroline. Breakfast buffet and cocktail hour each day is included in the price.

Atlantic Shores is no more. The whole complex is torn down and condos are going up. Welcome to the new trend in KW.

say it ain't so!!! I loved that place! Took my husband there because he had no idea. Just thought it was a nekkid resort. He told me "that guy over there is looking at you." I just smiled and said, "No, I think he's looking at YOU."
Oh, I am so disappointed. Next to Capt. Tony's that was my favorite place to hang out.

All gone. End of June this year was their last day. I managed to sunburn things that shouldn't be burned hanging out there. And trust me, not all the men were looking at men.
