Based on the fact that he made lot and lots of $ with the Dallas stadium show, the Houston stadium show and the two Foxboro stadium shows, there will be more stadium shows in 2008! Just a hunch...
Maybe baseball stadium shows in Cleveland and Baltimore. Oh yeah...He may want to revisit Fenway based on the Red Sox recent success. Also, I'd think that a Detroit baseball stadium show would sell out quickly. Heck, while Jimmy's in Michigan, maybe he will want to buy our whole damn state which is quickly sinking into economic oblivion.
BUT...based on how much fun he had on Anguilla, and from what I've heard about Paris and the Fillmore show, I am guessing he will also do a couple small venue shows to keep it interesting. He said he wants to play the Exit Inn in Nashville. Guessing he will do that one.
Also, why did he skip Jazz fest in 2007? Guessing he'll be back in 2008!

I sure hope so. Toronto is closer for me, but you can't beat the way you American's tailgate.

I wonder if he'll be back on the Today Show next year? Except for Springsteen, they didn't have too many musical guests worth seeing this year.

I dunno about the Today show. It seemed that Jimmy liked playing that gig cuz of how Katie Couric fawned all over him to get him to play her favorite - "the cheeseburger song".
Maybe Katie Couric will talk him into playing "the cheeseburger song" on some sort of CBS evening news segment.

I just hope this Tahiti thing pulls through. I will make it my one and only concert for the year if it happens...

Yea ,how about Buffalo, NY .He hasn't been here since the eighty's. THAT'S when it all started for us , Partying at the old rockpile. Boy was that place a s**t hole. Supposedly that's why Jimmy never came back. He vowed that he would never play in this dump again (the venue not the city) Well it's November in Buffalo and the weather is here Mid 60's today. Beat me to it, though I doubt we get lucky enough for Jimmy to return to Tallahassee for a few years. He did say at the end of his show last year that it wouldn't take him 5 years to get back and I am holding him to that.

my guess is that he'll hit the new amphitheater at The Wharf in Orange Beach at least once in the next couple years.
http://amphitheater.thewharfal.com/
10,000 seat brand-new facility about 5-miles from LuLu's and in his old stomping grounds of the Ala Gulf Coast where he grew up...
i would imagine that's gotta be too tempting for him to pass up.
he MIGHT hit the superdome in NO if they get the available hotel occupancy up high enough to support that many people.
i seriously doubt that he'll play in MS until the new
harrah's margaritaville casino opens in Biloxi - and i imagine that he'll do at least one if not two or three shows there in 2010 for the grand opening. the rest of the venues (with the exception of the casinos) are too old and delapidated. he *might* play the BJCC in birmingham like he did a few years back, but i doubt it - the acoustics there are horrible and he can get as much capacity with the new amp on the coast. the oak mtn amp, from what i understand, hasn't worked with him on his requests and contract demands, so that's probably out. besides, it's not *that* good of a venue anyway. in FL, i would love to see him in Tampa next year, but I would be surprised if he did anywhere else since he covered it pretty well this year.

I like to see a string of smaller shows in someplaces like Boise, Omaha, Wichita (of course). Places near some of the larger cities but off the beaten track. Maybe played outside in baseball stadiums.

Thanks for the run down. It would be nice to get a show somewhere else but tampa in 2008. It should be noted that he did not make it to ft lauderdale/west palm/miami this year. I am thinking he will do jax and miami next year. Jax would be awsome because there is a ton of tailgating space... the only downside is not a lot of downtown hotel rooms, although I am sorta surprised the landing in jax does not have a margaritaville... (well not that surprised but it would be a good spot for one)
I like that new outside amp. pretty nice. Hopefully he plays there!
I think you are right about him not playing until the casino opens up in 2010. I will be there for that though! Got a harrah's club card while i was in vegas just in case!

Yep, these shows allow him to write off his vacations as business trips. I'd do the same thing in his shoes!

And maybe some 100,000+ seat venues!!
That would be wicked cool!!!
(Not that he needs the money, of course...)
