Four (4)? I have the two (2) bonus tracks that I know of from the CD:
track 13 - "Other Side Of Town" (great song)
track 14 - "Safety Joe"
Ther were two others?

Oh Boy Records recently made "Fair And Square" as a double vinyl LP. To round it out to four full sides they added four bonus tracks. These are in addition to the two you mentioned. On John's birthday earlier this month, they made them available as downloads at Itunes. Best $3.96 I ever spent! Here's the titles:
1. "Carousel Of Love"
2. "That's Alright By Me"
3. "That's How Every Empire Falls"
4. "Dual Custody"
You should stop by the Prine Shrine and visit with us over there. We have alot of fun, but not nearly as many members as here.
PS "Dual Custody" is one JP's funniest songs ever!
Cool. Thanks! registering over at the Prine Shrine immediately. Also appreciate the heads up re: Double Fair & Square on vinyl LP no less! My original intro to John Prine was in the late '70s via vinyl. Saw several of his college tours in those years and immediately picked up his albums (and 8-tracks) ...... which I still play today on occasion.
Cool! Looking forward to seeing you over there. We're all a nice bunch- no trolls or flaming going on. Let 'em know john t sent ya
You can order it online directly from Oh Boy. I think it's $24.99, which ain't bad for a new double vinyl LP these days.

you are correct...through association as far as John Prine goes. I think that started with Souveniers which Jimmy did/John Prine did/Steve Goodman wrote.
I guess this is my point. I would not have known about any of these other performers were it not for Jimmys covers/references etc.
If this is referring to the cut on the Margaritaville Café - Late Night Menu CD, that is different "Souvenirs".
It is not the JP/SG tune.

You're correct- two different songs. The same with "Slow Boat To China", John Prine and Jimmy each have different songs with the same title.

Without the covers that Jimmy does (which I might add I think are 99% fantastic) I would not know:
The beautiful music of Jesse Winchester
The fabulous story of Steve Goodman's life
John Prine...oh, John Prine
a Greatful dead revival-I kind of missed the first time around
Randy Crawford
Bruce Cockburn
and oh so many more!
