my copy does not have the last 4 songs. is this the case for everybody, or did i get a screwed up copy?????
BigR,

I just bought it at Best Buy and it has all of those songs on Disc 2. Distantly In Love is the best song of teh main show songs, in my opinion. I'd be shocked if they left that off ANY of the CD 2's. LOVE that the liner notes had the Anguillan newspaper's review of the show. As Jimmy said, it was the best review that really "got" what Jimmy's all about.

Can't wait 2 watch the DVD at home!

Does the DVD have Bankie's intro?

Wonderful

The DVD is wonderful! Amazing sound/video quality and loved the songs selected.

I even spotted my big old head a bunch of times and there are two distant overhead shots where my fiancee Erin and I can be seen dancing.

Best souvenir we could have asked for of a magical, magical trip.

Thank you Jimmy, The CRB and Bankie, too. Brilliant job!

You need to WAIT for them to come on. They're from the informal beach concert, not part of the regular concert, so they were tacked on the end of the CD. You'll hear soft wave sounds in the background until they come on.

bufitonmybmw wrote:Very cool, indeed. As most of you can surmise, the beach show was absolutely the most incredible thing ever. I honestly could have done without the main Saturday show myself after that. Nothing will ever compare.... and that's ok. Isn't that what a "Once in a Lifetime Moment" is all about, anyway?

I was fortunate enough to have made the inside front cover of the DVD. That's me in the lower left hand corner sitting next to frozenbird.
There's also a head on shot of us towards the end of 'Chanson Pour Les Petits Enfants'...
And in the closing shots, he's autographing a green poster...that would be my 40th birthday 'sign' that's hanging here in my office!

To all the wonderful staff of JB's that I got to meet...on the ferry, at the beach and at our hotel- it's no surprise that this thing turned out as amazing as it did with such wonderful pholks creating it!
Really cool, indeed. Saw Larry and the Jens, it had to be an adventure. How cool that you made the inside cover and that he autographed that for ya. lucky gal you are.

Just finished listening to it while I'm sitting here in my office. Is it just me or does the audio sound worse on the one song Bankie did than on the rest of the 2 discs?

Picked it up yesterday, but I don't remember an overall difference. Will have to listen to it again. It might be Bankie's voice is the prominent one.

Couple of things. I ordered from Amazon and it's still not here yet. Was this concert announced in advance? I had no idea about it and if I did I would have tried very very hard to go to the show. Our honeymoon was in Anguilla at Cap Jaluca and I am always looking for an excuse to go back.

Looks like I got my 126" home theater system setup just in time for this DVD!!

3000 Americans, who coincidentally were all Buffett fans, just happened to be in Anguilla that weekend. Nobody knew about it ahead of time.

I ordered it Sunday from Mailboat and got it in the mail yesterday. (I've never had a problem with them!)

I haven't had a chance to watch the DVD, but I'm listening to the CDs at work today and they're great! Good song selection, good sound, wish I'd been there! :D

It is awesome.

I wish that they would have included Bankie's intro to Jimmy on the CD. On the DVD it would not have worked with the editing, but on the CD it would have been perfect.

Funny that the DVD doesn't include footage of Bankie puffing on the biggest joint I've ever seen (even if I saw it from 100 yards away).

My "face time" in the video is an overhead shot, I think during Margaritaville, where I am waiving my red ball cap to the camera. Lots of, "look there's my head" moments, too.

Do it again in March 2008, Jimmy! Please.

I love "Still In Paradise". It's actually called "Quality Time" and I just added it to my myspace.
It's on Bankie's myspace http://www.myspace.com/bankiebanx
btw, could anybody please upload or pm me a copy of that song if you have it? It's not available on his site anymore

I bought it on Wednesday at F.Y.E.

I'm not happy with it. AT ALL.

I'll see if I can get my money back.
