Last time I buy a new release from Amazon.
I did that with Harry Potter 7... it took over 2 weeks after the release date to get to my mailbox.

My wife picked up the cd/dvd on her way home from work tonight.
I've been sitting here downing a few brewskis while listening.
I especially like the few songs with the "beach band" on the beach.
I'd love a whole cd of just that. OPH on the beach sounds great.
Redemption Song at the end of APL@40 sounds better imo on this cd then it does at the bigger shows. Perhaps this was the first time they added it? I dunno. It seems to blend better rather than jump out at you.

Got mine two days ago at Best Buy, $16.99. I already have it on the ipod and I'm saving the DVD for this weekend. Sounds great, wish I was there.

Having Peter Mayer's cover of "Waiting in Vain" on my iPod was worth the price of the set!!

The beach band section of the DVD is priceless as well!

I noticed that Jimmy's voice sounds a little rough, kinda like it does sometimes at the end of a of a big show . Only it's from the get go. Not complaining though, just observing.
I love the cd/dvd set and "Still In Paradise" absolutely rocks!!

I got mine last night from Amazon, it's great. I too like the beach songs, they were great. The whole thing is great.

I would like to know where all the Bner's are located on the dvd. If you haven't done, please tell us where you are on the dvd.

It had to be really cool to be there. I just missed the show by a week, I was in St Marteen the week before, and had to head back to work, darn :x

I'm the filling in a Jen sandwich during A Pirate Looks At 40 and Fins. I may be in other sections too but I haven't watched the whole thing yet. I saw Macphin and Tagalong during Pirate.

That's great Larry! Immortalized on dvd - I'll have to watch again this evening to spot you guys. But of course you seem to have a knack for turning up with good lookin' ladies :)

Were you down on the beach too?

No, I missed the beach show. I didn't get there until that afternoon and I think they may have been done already by time I set foot on the island.

I just finished watching the DVD. :D Larry, I did recognize you and the Jens. It must have been a magical time on that beautiful island with that great music. I also recognized MacPhin and Tagalong.

We were in the front row the whole show but I don't know if they shot us much early in the show. I knew I was in Pirate and Fins because people had told me they saw me so that was all I watched when I got home from work last night.

Bankie Banx must have spent some time in NY, there are some NYC references in the lyrics of Still In Paradise.

It was cool seeing you guys in that......my daughter think I'm pretty cool because I "knew" someone in the video.....so thanks for that.

Very cool, indeed. As most of you can surmise, the beach show was absolutely the most incredible thing ever. I honestly could have done without the main Saturday show myself after that. Nothing will ever compare.... and that's ok. Isn't that what a "Once in a Lifetime Moment" is all about, anyway?

I was fortunate enough to have made the inside front cover of the DVD. That's me in the lower left hand corner sitting next to frozenbird.
There's also a head on shot of us towards the end of 'Chanson Pour Les Petits Enfants'...
And in the closing shots, he's autographing a green poster...that would be my 40th birthday 'sign' that's hanging here in my office!

To all the wonderful staff of JB's that I got to meet...on the ferry, at the beach and at our hotel- it's no surprise that this thing turned out as amazing as it did with such wonderful pholks creating it!
