How about it Jimmy? Please do tell us all when, (exactly) and where(exactly) you are planning your south pacific,Australia, (is it Jan. or Feb.) Tahiti tour in 2008??!! A trip like this requires quite a bit of pre-planning, even for a savvy, seasoned, seat of the pants traveler like myself!! :P :P :P

Ehhh an Easter Island show, that would dissapoint me to see that happen. The island is very small and the influx of people that would come in would damage it. 1, because logistically the economy can not handle such an amount of people, and 2, it would cause more ruin to the sites, which should be left undisturbed in my opinion. Easter Island was probably one of the most amazing places I have been to in my life, mainly becuase of it's isolation and mysterious history. It should be kept that way.
If any big name artist were to do a musical show there, I would be an activist against it.

Now for Tahiti, bring it on, because I want to go!

I do wish he would announce even though I seriously doubt I would be able to go. I wouldstill like the option to dream about going though. :)

absolutely! and I'd be right in there protesting the idea.

I talked to my folks about Tahiti and they said there really isn't an ampitheater or place big enough for any kind of concert let alone facilities and services for the influx of people. I'm curious to see if it really pans out.

The Paris show was in a bar that held 400 people, he could do the same type show in Tahiti.

Good question.... In my mind, Santa was always the big guy, the Chief Honcho, the Big Kahuna...El jeffe.... And because there had to be a Christmas Before there was Easter, Santa Wins over the Easter Bunny by longevity with the comany...... :D :D :D ...or so goes my twisted view... :D :D :D

Oh....PS.... Santa....please tell Jimmy to not advertise the Easter island show.....Just do a show like he did in Dutch Harbor.....just him and 50 or so folks who showed up..... 8) 8)

Well I didn't pull together the Vegas show / wedding for 07 but this southwest tour thread has sure given me some cool ideas! Leaving -40 Fairbanks in January or February for a show anywhere south of Seattle is cool enough but south of the equator! Let me wipe the slobber off my face now...

Yea I was bummed... :( The new wife’s X has put up a few road blocks along the way but those are pretty much cleared up now... No wonder I put off marriage until I was 40...

How’s the "South Bearing Sea Islands" Treating you?
