It's just beer anyway. I've never had a beer that made me cream in my pants
Well, in my younger days if I was in a bar with a hot babe and she started rubbing up against me ...
But Land Shark hasn't taken a bite out of the Mexican brew, having sold less than 258,000 cases for the year ended Oct. 7, according to Information Resource Inc. Meanwhile, Corona Extra sales grew 2% during the same period to 40.6 million cases.</em>[/quote]
Think about this: Corona is a WELL established import for many years now. Landshark is a farley NEW beer (launched in the first quarter of 2007, with VERY limited distribution) that is no where near distributed as Corona. I am in Pennsylvania, where Landshark is NOT available YET, but it is in Delaware and NJ, two neighboring states (go figure). When Landshark has a similar distribution as Corona NATION wide, then to two can be truly compared in sales figures. Until then, you can't compare them equally.
As far taste and quality - For each his own!!!!!

IMO neither are great but having the loaded landsharks in Vegas, top off with Lime Tequila, were very tasty at the time. Either way for tailgating I will have a little bit of both on ice because that is what we all want then and there. Enjoy.
Landshark has a limited availability (and in my case requires a couple hours' drive to get some) so comparing it to Corona strictly on sales is premature.
...And, as far as fruiting a beer goes, I quote the great philosopher Norm Peterson: "The only thing I want floating in beer is my liver."

Whoa there, be careful as to not dilute the definition of the true hophead!
Unless it's an IPA or equaly hoppie, we're just talking about barleyheads here.
Are Landshark and Corona even hopped?

Touche' good point. I think Corona and any other lager have to have some hops in them to make it a beer. But your point is well taken. I went to the Mohegan Sun Arena last night to see John Fogerty. (Incredible show!) Before the show, we ate at Big Bubba's BBQ restaurant (good food BTW) The waitress when taking drink orders noticed my Margaritaville Tequila Flight Jacket (a gift from my liquor distributor friend) and she said "We have Jimmy Buffett's beer Shark Fin---no that's Landshark, would you like some? I said, "No thanks, I'd prefer some Magic Hat on draft...two awesome fresh glasses...now that is a real beer mateys!
"Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates."

only if the recycled beer used to fill the bottles had hops added...
