Yes, you read that correct: Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Raising Sand. It is a new album that just came out. It is produced by none other than T Bone Burnette. I listened to the samples on Amazon and it sounds fantastic. I think they both should go ahead and clear a spot on the shelf for another Grammy.

Here is a link to an 8 minute "making of" type video:

Here is a link to Amazon where it is selling for $12 and you can listen to a sample of each song.

I think it is also on sale at Wally World for about $12.

They were on the Today Show about 2 weeks ago and did one song, Gone Gone Gone. There's probably a video on Today's website but I can't watch it because the firm blocks Today's videos during business hours so I didn't bother looking.

I really enjoy Alison Kraus.

The O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack is on our regular rotation, but that's all I've heard by her, that I know at least.

All I could find was an small article with a picture of Robert Plant (and if you click the picture it tells you that it is from a concert not the show).

They used to have a video archive of past performances, maybe they took it down.

I listened to the whole album it's a very interesting mix, it's not for everybody but if you like Plant's style, you'll probably like it.

And she goes down faster than a power window.

I'm a HUGE Alison Krauss fan, and pretty much dig Robert Plant, but I just didn't care for the way their voices sound together.

I think it is an OK cd.....certainly not Grammy worthy though

Nowhere near as good as the Emmylou Harriss-Mark Knopfler
cd is from last year

I must apologize to Alison for pulling a "Buffet" on her name. I spelled Kraus with only 1 s. I am sorry. It has been fixed.

It may have won...but I still don't think it was good enough for that.

They have given out Grammy's in the past to some very undeserving crap.

They are- a really good show with two artists who really like and respect each others work- very refreshing and a great show! Love Alison singing When the Levy Breaks!
