Back to my original post, my meaning for dissapointment had nothing to do with not liking my style of music, or Buffett for that matter. It's a quick little thought I posted that I wanted to relay my dissapointment and sadness that there are sooo many people in this world that miss out on such an escape that Buffett provides, or others, whether related or not to the island lifestyle. In our every day, run here, do that, fast paced world, so many of us fail to look or find that escape.

I am not saying there needs to be 6 billion parrottheads, I am saying I think the world would be a whole lot though! I respect others music, their opinion, I am just hoping their favorite music provides as much a release as Buffett does for us all.

I posted b/c I feel lucky and privilged to 'get it' like you guys too, and to be able to have that release which I hope many others share as well, parrotthead or not.

By the way...quite off topic from my previous post before...but had to share it. Traveling home from Detroit I grabbed some lunch quick at the Bob Evans in Gaylord. Half way through the meal I heard 'the man' through the speakers and 'Mexico'. In Bob Evans? After Thanksgiving? With XMAS music playing everywhere else? How cool is that..

It is hard to please everyone and it took years of educating my friends about JB.

I've actually used TTRWHS when I'm talking to students about Hurricanes white caps on the ocean.... big storm's coming soon I received a funny look from the teacher... and after the song, all smiles she got it!
