Music Ideas?

Post by Flowerfield Girl »

My grandma, 104 years old. Passed away. She was an awesome lady. She had an extremely healthy full life until she passed in her sleep recently.
Well I have over 200 pictures that I am putting in a powerpoint presentation. I need some recommendations for songs, preferably Buffett but anything that seem appropriate. I am just stumped at this point. I think my brain isn't working due to the stress of all of this.
I am sure she would have been a parrothead had she been born 50 years later!

Condolences for your loss. Your project is truly a labor of love. How about Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison?

THANKS SO MUCH.
I knew I could count on BNer's!!!

She was an amazing person. She rode in my Red Mustang GT convertible last summer and really loved it. We took lots of pictures. She was also a huge Cubbies fan and on her 103rd we arranged to have the Avatar at Wrigley with her name and birthday wishes.

It's not Buffett-related, but how about a little opera?
Among other music-related events in 1903, Enrico Caruso joined cast of New York's Metropolitan Opera Company and made records for the Victor Talking Machine Company.
