Whenever my daughter did her nails, I made her take the cotton balls outside to the trash, or flush them....It literally makes me sick....

Going back to work two days after Wilma flooded out Billie's (which had a pretty good funk going before that
) and then having to work in it for eight hours at a time. Not enough bleach in the world.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

Terre Haute, IN.
And I'll apologize in advance if you're from there. I'm sure it's a perfectly nice town. But in the course of my travels/moves, I've had to drive through there several times and that place just stinks!
And it's not just one smell--as you are getting close to town, you drive past a cattle feed lot. And then a waste water treatment facility. And then a couple of chemical plants. And the hits just keep on coming.
My wife and I refer to it as the Land of 1,000 Smells.
FWIW, here's part of the city's wikipedia entry: Businessman Kevin Burke was elected the city’s mayor in 2003 and vowed to make cleaning up the city’s image and notorious smell one of his administration’s top priorities. The offensive odors are primarily emitted from a coal tar creosote railroad tie manufacturing facility, a waste water treatment facility, and a paper plant. To date, only limited progress has been made in reducing these odors.
By themselves, each smell is nasty, but tolerable. But when you get hit by one after another after another as you drive across town, it starts getting really bad.
