Please don't make this into a Chesney/ Buffett War Thread . . .

the point of this post is that I saw Chesney tickets have gone on sale for his July 2008 concert in Massachusetts . . . . 12/ 1; it is the only show that is posted so far on his website . . . like Buffett in Massachusetts I hear that the Chesney tailgate is pretty good and that it is quite a party . . . (I saw Chesney in Philly last year and it is pretty fun . . . although Jimmy still wins by a mile).

That being said, I am ready to start planning some drunken summer time party in the parking lot fun . . . and Chesney at the very least will be a good warm up for the Main Event.

Just thought I would let you all know . . .

Who wants to go!?

(again . . . angry - anti Chesney repsonses need not post)

Thanks! :D :D :D :D

The tailgating for the Country Music Festival at Gillette was so out of hand this year that I suspect the police will clamp down hard next year...

There are some decent parties in a Chesney parking lot.
The best ones are closer to the venue (at least that's what I've observed in Texas).
A few folks bring RV's (probably folks with "experience" ), but it's nothing like a Buffett tailgate.

There's always music playing and friendly folks.
It's probably the Buffett fans who come to the Chesney shows that really spice the place up. How else would they know how to do it right?

All I know is that Chesney at Gillette must be one of the bigger more exciting places he plays if tickets are going on sale this early and Gillette is the only place listed on his website . . .

anyone planning on scoring tickets on 12/ 1?

Did they offer easy out parking? Opening acts sound a lot better then the main.
