Denver's dubious award - drunkest city

In 2004, Men's Health magazine named Denver the drunkest city in America.

In the upcoming December issue of Men's Health, Denver is again named the No. 1 drunkest city — and to put a capper on it, we're the "most dangerously drunk city."

Colorado Springs comes in as the third drunkest city. Aurora is the 19th drunkest city.
Actually the city where we live is number 19, but the city where I work and spend a lot of time is number 1.

I'll drink to that!

There's a magazine called "Modern Drunkard", a kind of hipster magazine that's all about drinking, and I'm pretty sure it's based out of somewhere in Colorado. Not surprised. I actually felt bad when I was out there, like I didn't do my share.

all the KW surveyors were too hung over, so the KW numbers weren't quite up to snuff.

Schnapps ...

but coming from one of the biggest drinking countries in the world (And I had MANY people in USA tell me that I met, how they have never met drinkers or people that can handle it like aussies - I am a poor example  ) I still found it disturbing

if there is a giant metallic-laden poisonous lake east of downtown, I gotta go with the former.
