sorry about the false tip, but it seems kinda childish to react this way. i can tell you i have played many poor hunches in my day, many times from the information of others, turns out, its not that big of a deal. yea it sucks that drifty told you something that wasnt true, but it also sounds like other people got that information elsewhere and showed up at the same place you did. i believe its something called "rumor starting" and it generally starts around adolescence, in some cases it has been known to be seen in people of all ages.

so you had a bad night and Mac didnt show. so what, there are plenty of other nights. just enjoy that you were able to get down to the keys for MOTM, hold your grudge against drifty or whatnot, go down next year and try to get it right. my point here is that you should not take this one negative piece away from the trip, be happy you got to be down there around all the other parrotheads in the sun and surf. ill see you on the positive threads

Ditto, even if it wasn't Jimmy, the word was that it would be someone you wouldn't want to miss - so I was thinking some CRB members too. Was also not too appreciative of the fake Jimmy in the window at Margaritaville during Streetfest, I admit to being a newbie when it comes to stuff like that but I wasn't the only one raising my camera until I was told differently. I may not have been taken in so easily had it not been for the Drifty factor.

Well I was the one with my friend Jimmy S in the window - and he is not fake - Jimmy B looks like him (he is older than Jimmy B).

It was not a prank ...... we were up in the offices as guests of friends and were just looking out the window.

Hope no one is upset with me about it - he was up there as a legitimate friend of Margaritaville people too - and had as much right to look out the window as I do ...... he cannot help Who looks like him .....

I spent time with some pholks I love and never see..



What I was doing was pointing out that there is a person that is "in the know" that was playing a "joke" and that as jokes go this one stunk,
there were people that were hurt. They trusted Him.. No Mas.
to me this is no different than if you and I were hiking and I saw a Rattlesnake near you. I would speak up and warn you of the fact.



my point boiled down to a persons "WORD" I gave mine that
I would point out what was done to BN and let the facts speak for themselves. I kept my word..

Perhaps he really thought someone was gonna show. I've never met Drifty but he seems like a cool and funny guy from what I've seen online.
I know of him from another board and he's one of the ever growing list of people I'd like to meet one day.....you too of course my man.
