No way! That means back to work! We closedown (not using our personal entitlements) over Christmas! I finish up on the 21st and dont go back to the 2nd!

we get Christmas Day and New Year's Day off. That's it.

Christmas just means work for me. The last straw was two years ago when I put together Christmas, did all the shopping, blah, blah, blah, and there was not one single solitary thing under the tree with my name on it, and there are four other people that live in this house. Not so much as a card. I *despise* Christmas.......

I hate the cold, but love the true spirit of Christmas which I can still find.

Half of the outside lights are up and running as of ten minutes ago!

I want my Momma to be better (I know, that's not gonna happen but I CAN wish!)

I want both my kids to have all they ever need and a few things they want.

There are brief moments when I can still get the feeling back. We have a "Messiah Sing In" where people gather in the big church in the center of town and sing along with Handel's beautiful words. Usually at least one of my friends is a soloist and another friend directs the whole thing. That's a "Christmas" moment that can still get to me especially when my other theatre buds are there too.
